the GazettE placed in the top ten of two UK metal charts while the hashtag for their brand new album "BEAUTIFUL DEFORMITY" became a worldwide Twitter Trend.
BEAUTIFUL DEFORMITY, released digitally on 23 October in Europe by JPU Records, is the seventh album from the Japanese visual kei veterans. Fans across the globe eagerly awaited its midnight release
and excitedly tweeted about it throughout 22 October, leading to
#BEAUTIFULDEFORMITY emerging as the top trending topic worldwide on
Twitter, as well as making the trending list across several European
countries.
In the UKm the album smashed into the top ten of two metal
charts. It peaked at number four in the iTunes Metal Chart while the
pre-order for the physical version of the album (out 4 November) reached seventh place in Amazon's Hot New Releases in Hard Rock and Heavy Metal.
To celebrate, the GazettE revealed news of a new tour named after album opening track 'MALFORMED BOX'. The announcement was made through a teaser clip (http://youtu.be/7Kt5UQq5bNQ) on their YouTube channel.
Three album teasers are also available, including the (not safe for work) preview for 'INSIDE BEAST' (http://youtu.be/PRP0xL03nkk), an eerie and melodic clip using the music from album's penultimate track 'TO DAZZLING DARKNESS' (http://youtu.be/vxmnOOaJkRM), as well as a sneak peak at the album's only single so far, 'FADELESS' (http://youtu.be/K2WCEjK7JEU).
